| Starting
with scramble races in his home state Oklahoma, Gary begins his career
racing motorcycles. Moving to the professional level, racing the Kansas
circuit and then trying his hand at the national circuit. He runs
up front at Springfield and gets public notice. Finally winning his
first national at Winber, PA and two weeks later at Santa Fe Speedway,
IL, he gets his national number, #9, in 1964. He continues to finish
it the top ten in ’64, ’65 and ’66. Yamaha brings him to Japan to
win the Japanese National title in 1966. Finally in 1967, he wins
the national title with wins at Daytona, Loudon, Santa Fe, Carlsbad,
etc. This tape contains rare photos and film clips from Japan, Daytona,
